Nakuru Karibu
This is a picture that I took in Nakuru, Kenya.
Nakuru is a bustling city outside of Nairobi that is much smaller than Nairobi, but has the same
busy feel to it as Nairobi.

Of course, Ghana is not all rural, in fact about 65% to 75%
of my travels outside of Accra and throughout Ghana were in and around small to medium sized cities with paved roads.
This picture is in the capital city of Accra, I don't remember the name of this hotel.

The Village

I really enjoyed Awuni's village, it was so serene and tranquil.
We stayed there for two nights.

The West African Sunset!

In this part of Ghana the people are predominately Muslim.
We are sitting on top of our friends home, in their village compound.
There were about 8 0r 9 round thatched homes arranged in a semi-circle.
Believe it or not, the main building (that we were sitting on here) was a modern structure
complete with water fittings and electricity.
From left to right are my father, Awuni, his father, and to the right is his brother.
